Step-by-step installation guide

WordPress PixelPin Login is a WordPress Plugin for authenticating with PixelPin using the OAuth 2.0 API using OpenID Connect Endpoints.

WordPress PixelPin Login allows you to connect your website to PixelPin and let users authenticate using passwordless pictures. With WordPress PixelPin Login extension your clients log in to your store using their PixelPin pictures. There is no need to complete numerous forms for a successful registration.

To complete the installation, you'll need to create your PixelPin developer account.

Download the plugin

  1. Click on the link to download the WordPress PixelPin Login plugin.

Installation

  1. From the WordPress admin dashboard, on the sidebar, click on Plugins.

  2. Click on Add New.

  3. Click on Upload Plugin.

  4. Click on Choose file or Browse...

  5. Locate the downloaded WordPress PixelPin Login plugin. It'll be a .zip file. Once you find it click Open.

  6. Click Install Now.

  7. Click Activate Plugin.

  8. The plugin is now installed and activated.

Configuring the plugin

  1. From the WordPress admin dashboard, on the sidebar, click on Plugins.

  2. Under WordPress PixelPin Login click on Settings.

  3. Scroll down until you see Enable PixelPin, click on the PixelPin Logo to enable WordPress PixelPin Login

  4. You'll need the Redirect URI to create a developer account to get your Client ID and Client Secret so highlight and copy the Redirect URI now. If you haven't created a PixelPin developer account before, a guide can be found here to guide you through the steps to create a PixelPin developer account.

  5. Once you've obtained your Client ID and Client Secret after creating a PixelPin developer account, type/paste them into the Client ID and Client Secret fields.

  6. Optional

    If you need the user's Phone Number, Postal Address or Gender, use the drop down menu's to configure your needs.

  7. Lastly press Save Settings.

Testing the plugin

You can test the plugin by signing in via the PixelPin logo on the WordPress sign in page.
