How to Create a PixelPin Developer Account
Updated February 7th 2018
This is a guide on how to create a PixelPin developer account to allow you to obtain your Client ID and Client Secret.
Important: Currently, if you're creating a developer account to integrate PixelPin into your Android or iOS app, you will need a PixelPin point-of-contact. If you're interested in integrating PixelPin into your Android or iOS application, please contact our sales team.
Once you've signed in, click Add/Edit Developer Accounts.
Click Create account.
Fill in your website details:
Contact Email address: The email address you want to be contacted on. This will also be the email address you'll need to access to validate your developer account.
Redirect URI: The Redirect URI is normally used in the authentication request. If you're using one of our plugins, it will tell you what the Redirect URI is within the plugin or specify what the Redirect URI might be in the plugins installation documentation.
OpenID Flow: The OpenID Flow will most likely be Authorization Code unless another code flow was implemented. See the OpenID Connect Documentation for information.
Discount Code: If you have a discount code, you can use it here.
Select Package: Select the payment package you want to choose.
Monthly Payment Day: Choose the day you want to pay for the monthly subscription.
Click Create account once you're done.
Log into your email address and find the email we've just sent you with the subject Verify Email. Then click on the Verify Link.
You will be redirected to a page containing your Client ID, Client Secret and Key for your mobile app. For non-mobile integrations, you'll only need the Client ID and Client Secret
Note: Currently, the key for mobile apps is only available to integrators who have a PixelPin point-of-contact. If you're interested in using the mobile key to integrate PixelPin into your Android or iOS application, please contact our sales team.
